About Hoffman Insurance Agency
The Hoffman Insurance Agency was founded in 1980 by Dan Hoffman, a lifelong Spokane resident. All of the agency’s employees were born and raised in Eastern WA.
The agency focused on specializing in the coverage families needed, including auto, home, rental property, rv’s, etc. Life insurance and retirement planning needs were met as well. For over 40 years, it’s become a Legacy Agency, handling the insurance needs of its original customers and many of their extended families.
In 1989, Donna Hutchinson joined the team to help service the Agency’s growing customer base and soon became a licensed insurance agent. Thirty six years later, she remains a friendly, familiar face in the office and a reassuring voice to our customers.
In January 2004, Cretia Primmer, an Eastern graduate, joined as a full time producer. She lives in the farming community of Rockford, where her family’s roots run deep. Through Cretia’s careful efforts, the agency has expanded its footprint to Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Arizona. In addition to advising customers on essential coverages, she is the go to agent for the insurance needs of farmers.
Ally Anderson, a WSU graduate, was added to our team in March of 2017 as a Customer Service Agent, and within 2 years had earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation.
Knowing that the relationships Dan held with his customers was the foundation of the agency, he knew that selling to a larger, corporate agency would not maintain the dependability he was known for. He and Cretia carefully planned the agency transition, putting the needs of his customers and employees at the forefront of their decisions.
Since becoming owner on May 1st, 2023, Cretia has worked tirelessly to maintain the agency while upholding the original mission and values that our customers expect; staying proactively informed in the industry, communicating promptly and truthfully with customers, and most importantly, fulfilling commitments. While maintaining the integrity of the agency, Cretia’s vision of enhancing the experience of new and existing customers is based on trust and integrity.
Partnering with Cretia in December 2023, Chris, Cretia’s husband, became licensed as a personal and commercial line agent. He is looking forward to serving the agency’s customers through commitment and excellence.
